The Magician is you.
The magic is in you.
You have to choose to use it.
There are so many cards in a tarot deck where you could be one of a few figures or the figure could be outside of you (i.e. someone in your life). For me, I do not think I have even read The Magician outside of the person having the reading. It is all about owning the magic in you. You have what you need to make it work. You may have to get creative with your tools, but you have all you need.
Because what you need lives inside of you.
Why did you need to hear this message?
Because the following cards are holding you back from truly embracing your own power.
The 5 and 8 of Swords. Swords are air cards. They are all about the mind. Your mental space is not lovely right now. You are letting fears and the voices of others blur your visions and goals. Or even as we see in the 8 of Swords, you are letting them hold you hostage from grasping the magic you hold within.
You need to find a way to reconnect with your power and release all that is preventing that…Full Moons are a great time to RELEASE what is not serving your highest good.

I like this deck, and I find it skewed to the positive side of things. After typing up the tarot, I am glad this is the deck I chose to use to follow that. When I am in a 8 of Swords type of energy sometime I need the aggressive positivity to help knock it down, if I can let that type of message in. I hope you can see that in these messages…a way to break through the fog & not a sugarcoating of hard things.
Again, we have a card asking you to take control. Lead the metamorphosis. You have the power. You are the magician. You need to own it. It is making me think of “Lose Yourself” by Eminem. This is your moment…
Get back to the elemental. Nature is key here. I have been doing a lot of nature walks lately. And the last week I stopped. I was tired and was in transition of packing and unpacking. I did not have the energy. So, I let myself have the space and break to rest. (Rest is important). However, my mood plummeted. And I do think being in nature and then NOT was a huge factor for me. There is a healing only nature can bring. What is so cool is you just have to place yourself in nature for that to benefit you!
Light in the unexpected. Again, a personal story comes to mind. I was frustrated because I have access to a driveway for a short span of time and wanted to wash my car. However, I would not be able to for a few days, (possibly not at all—now it is yes…but later). Today, I go to run some errands and my car is FILTHY. They are doing road work, and my car was dusted as a result. So, basically a burnt bagel…I would have been so frustrated by this if I HAD WASHED MY CAR. Instead other things derailed that plan so I could do a better job post road work. Hopefully it will be done.
The point of this silly story…sometimes the inconvenience or frustration is a blessing you do not see in the moment.

Even when you know you are the Magician of your life, it doesn’t hurt when other people let you know it too. Don’t rely on it, but be grateful for the extra acknowledgment when it happens.

Yes, the magic is in you. But great things can happen when a group of great minds come together too! Find those who are the same page as you or have the skills to help you achieve your dreams. (You probably also have the skills the need for their dreams also…)

Balance is so-so-so important. And at the same time, so easy to forget about. Really focus in on how you balance all the things. No extremes, find the middle way.

Is this not just an amazing synonym for The Magician? You really are the creator and you have the magic. What will you do with it? You need to act for it to be made real.

What a compliment! How can you use this to make poetry? Not literally, unless that is your thing, of course. Even if your “poetry” is being a business mogul, that would be a form of living out your poetry…ya know? You have this dream inside you, and it wants to be your lived reality.
