Full Moon in Leo Collective Reading
1 February 2026
Tarot:
3 of Roots:WORK, 8 of Arrows: OPPRESSION, The Hierophant Reversed with Mother of Feathers
Work…This is intricate like the lattice design of the trees at the top of the card. It is a multifaceted, multilayered collaboration. There is one figure on this card, but feathers and arrows are present. All that is missing is horns. We have earth, air, and fire coming together to make something they are all proud of.
Then there is oppression. Something is blocking this work from flowing or moving forward. Is is someone? Or internalized emotions blocking the willingness to collaborate. I do think it is fear of the group here. We have smaller blue jays? antagonizing what I would guess is a bird of prey. The fear of being the outsider should not keep you from finding the right group where you belong. When you find it, you will make magic. But you must let go of the fear first.
Normally, I take 3 Tarot cards for these readings, but these two came out together. The Hierophant is a very dear card to me, I have an article that touches on this. Essentially, I once saw it as doctrine that made me want to cringe, and now I see it as a teacher who has master their area of skill. However, reversed it may be that doctrine for doctrine sake. Holding onto some belief even when evidence is no longer logically supported. How can you passionately step into your authority against the views you have help onto like armor? What do you need to shed to grow into your most creative self?
Archetypal Messages:
The Seed and The Stone
My first thought after pulling these two cards is that a seed cannot grow in stone. But that isn’t really accurate. I have seen many a bud burst through a concrete sidewalk. What perseverance? To be a newborn growth and to break through manmade anti-nature walkways. Powerful.
I am guessing you planted something. Maybe the last New Moon, maybe the last Leo New Moon. And something got in your way. You do not nurture this idea the way you intended too. But it is not lost. You still have the chance to put aside what is blocking you.
The stone could be the block or the guidance you need. The fortitude you need to embody to revision this goal, and how you want to seek to cultivate its growth.
These cards are sequential in the deck which is pretty cool.
Guidebook musings:
The Seed
“The end is present in the beginning.”
“Potent generative energy all around.”
The Stone
“Its energy is one of permanence, concreteness, and reliability.”
“The stone’s ability to transform is nearly imperceptible to us, as it changes ever so slowly over countless human lifespans.”
“Humble and easily unnoticed The Stone balances the frenzy of our world.”
A Vision:
Water Has Memory
This is making me think of the song I like Giants by Kimya Dawson.
I feel like that says what I think this card means better than I can, but I will try to paraphrase.
Water has memory because everything is a cycle. We all have our part to play and it is important to let our magic shine. If you find your place, you can shine the best, and bring more light into this dark world. You need to remember who you are and what your soul came here to do. You need to find the strength to pursue that. Your need to nurture that. And you need to find people who can help support both of those things with you and you with them too.
Guidance from Mother Mary:
Our Lady of the Sacred Hearth
I do not think this will be easy, but I have a feeling if you follow your heart and truth…it will be worthwhile.
